Once a course has commenced, our policy is not to issue refunds. However we would consider a request for a
refund if supported by a letter from your General Practitioner setting out the reason for the swimmers non-attendance. Such
requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and a £25.00 administration fee will apply, which will be deducted from a refund.
Should we agree to issue a refund, a payment will be sent by direct transfer within 7 days, after member details have been confirmed.
Please note booking fees and administration fees are non - refundable during a course. Refunds during a course may be issued for lesson
fees only and will only be issued for dates remaining after we have received the dated, supported letter from your General
Practitioner. Lessons/courses that are postponed due to external circumstances (school closure* any other disruption**) will be carried
forward and re-commencement updates will be communicated.
* Lessons will not be credited where a nearby alternative venue is sourced.
** Term Interruption due to Covid-19 will be continued and carried over. Course weeks will be adapted to new dates where necessary.
Credits & Refunds will not be given.
** Missed sessions due to having to self-Isolate - S4 can offer the time back as an additional lesson in any future given week,
to enable the swimmer to catch-up on development time lost (subject to availability). Credits & Refunds will not be given.
A 14 day cooling off period after a payment is made will apply. A full refund will be given if you change your mind within this period, after a £25.00 administration fee has been deducted. A refund will not be given if the payment is made within 14 days of a course start date. Preferred method of payment is online, through the S4 Payment Page* If paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to 'S4 Swim School'. A 50 pence cost should be added to cheque payments. Please note, to confirm your place, we ask that you pay promptly. We do require all members to be fully paid up before commencement of each new swimming term. Any members who have not paid by week 1 of a course will be turned away for insurance purposes. Please note, we do not take cash for lesson fees.
Your term plans (downloadable from your member page) will detail the dates of the re-enrolment period for the next course. Re-enrolment invoices will state when the current member priority booking period ends, after which places become open to new members.
S4 may arrange to have photos/videos taken of S4 swimmers during swimming lessons by a CRB/DBS checked operator. Photos/videos will only be taken of swimmers where parental consent has been given. We request that members do not take their own videos and photographs at our swim school sessions. All S4 Swim School videos and photography and logos/illustrations are the copyright of S4 Swim School. Scanning or reproduction of any of the above without our written agreement will be regarded as being in breach of our copyright and dealt with accordingly. S4 Swim School may use photos/videos for marketing purposes once parental consent has been given.

Should you need to switch swimming pools we will do our best to accommodate this change, however this cannot be guaranteed.
S4 Swim School may refuse entry to a member to its courses if it is felt that the member's behaviour/actions are unreasonable.
S4 Swim School will always try to ensure children have the same swimming teacher over a course however we cannot guarantee this as teachers may fall ill or leave the swim school. We cannot always give advance warning of a new teacher. We will ensure the instructor is suitably qualified and has completed S4 Swim School's training requirements.
S4 Swim School will request information of any medical conditions for any swimmer booking on to our courses. You agree to inform S4 Swim School of any changes to medical conditions when you are aware of them. This information will be kept confidential with S4 Swim School. Swimming instructors working for us will be informed of medical conditions to improve the safety for the swimmer and to prepare them in the event of a medical emergency.
Property left in the changing rooms or poolside or anywhere else on the venue premises is left at your own risk and we cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items. Please remember to remove all jewellery before entering the swimming pool.
In the event of any proven negligence or lack of due awareness or breach of duty by the instructor(s), S4 Swim School, its franchisees or employees, the participation of you, your spouse/partner, child or those in whose care you have placed your child for the purpose of taking part in or watching S4 Swim School's swim lesson is done so completely at your and their own risk. Where equipment or swimming goggles are borrowed at sessions S4 Swim School are not responsible for any related health issues.
When terms are updated we will notify you of any changes by sending you an updated version. You are free to reject these changes by notifying us in writing within 14 days of your receipt of the new version. If we do not receive this is writing we will treat our agreement with you as being relevant to the updated version.
